Historical Hockey Memorabilia Auction Fall 2014

Two former Western Canada Pacific Coast League Triple-A game-worn jerseys on the block here. From the Calgary Cannons, who played their home games at the wonderful Foothills Stadium next door to McMahon Stadium comes a mid-1990s Cannons jersey worn by lefty Brian Shouse who would pitch in the big leagues for 6 different teams but in 1995 and ’96 was throwing for the Triple A Alberta team. Tagged in the collar as a “Wilson (size) 46", this gamer, with the double tackle twill logo, numbers, and nameplate, shows only a few material pulls for game wear. Sewn on the right sleeve is a cool “Professional Baseball, The Minor Leagues” patch. The Cannons were in existence from 1985 to 2002. We also have a 1990s gamer from the Triple-A Vancouver Canadians, who played their home games at Nat Bailey Stadium, a grand stadium very similar to Foothills, and who were in existence as a Triple-A team from 1978 to 1999. Tagged in the collar as a “Wilson (size) 40”, this jersey, worn by a player unknown, has both the logo and number “6” sewn on, with the “6” double tackle twill.
