Historical Hockey Memorabilia Auction Fall 2014

From the team so many baseball fans dearly miss, the Montreal Expos, is this cool threesome of Expos garments that begins with a 1990s-2000s warm-up jersey with the team logo sewn on the left breast in red, white and blue twill and “55” sewn to the back and left sleeve in double twill. The inside collar tag has been removed, and puckering is noticeable on the sewn-on twill components, while on the right sleeve is one small black mark. The number “55” limits the possibilities to (9) different players or former coach Luis Pujois (1996-2000). Next is a blue nylon zippered Expos jacket from the 2001 campaign, with the body lining 100% polyester and the inside arms 100% nylon. The collar, cuffs, and hem are of the knitted polyester variety. The double tackle twill crest is sewn on the front, with an American flag patch on the right sleeve. Tagged in the collar as a “Majestic”, with an “XL” size flap just below, the Majestic patch has a handwritten “ADAM” on it which is unknown. This zippered garment remains in excellent condition showing very light wear. Lastly, a 2000s Expos snap-button warm-up jacket with inner lining, tagged in the collar as a “Diamond Collection XXL” with just above a handwritten “2” and “39”, the latter of which has been obscured with black marker. A triple tackle twill “Montreal” is sewn on across the front, with some of the white showing areas of staining. An embroidered fleur-de-lis sits just above “Montreal”. The jacket, aside from the aforementioned stains on the white, remains in excellent condition.
