Louis won the fight by knockout in the 8th round. The controversial fight with Louis was moved to Comiskey Park in to avoid contractual conflicts with Madison Square Gardens. Louis went on to defend his title 13 times including a defeat of Max Schmeling, the man Braddock was supposed to have fought a year prior in 1936 but was canceled. This full ticket, measuring 2 1/2” x 7”, has been graded by PSA as excellent 5, a remarkably preserved ticket with only slight wear to the corners and a small mark on the back. Also to note is a small crack on the edge of the PSA holder.
