Historical Hockey Memorabilia Auction Fall 2014
This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 11/4/2014
Cool game-used stick wielded by Detroit Red Wings defenceman Jiri Fischer, who would play his entire career, from 1999 to 2006, in a Wings uniform. This gamer, with a Louisville TPS shaft and Koho blade, has Fischer’s original black tape on the blade and white on the well-worn knob, with “Fischer” stamped on one side of the shaft near the blade, and serial numbers on the opposite side. Game marks and nicks are scattered throughout. Fisher, whose playing career ended after going into cardiac arrest during a game against the Preds in 2005, has signed the blade of this gamer in white marker, and has added his number “2” in black marker on the knob.
