Historical Hockey Memorabilia Auction Fall 2014
This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 11/4/2014
Aside from 20 games with the Winnipeg Jets in the early-1990s, talented centerman Kris Draper would spend the next 1137 games wearing the red and white of the Detroit Red Wings, beginning in 1993 and coming to a close in 2011. We’ve got one of Draper’s game-used “Warrior” sticks from his Wings years, with original red tape on the knob and his name signed in wonderfully clear and bold silver marker on the untaped blade, a blade that shows faint outlines of the tape that once was. Marks and nicks make their way up the shaft to the knob where “33” is handwritten on one side and “2K” on the other. A nice gamer from a four-time Stanley Cup winner and key guy for the Wings over the years.
