Historical Hockey Memorabilia Auction Fall 2014
This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 11/4/2014
Clear and bold is HOFer Raymond Bourque's signature on the blade of his game-used Sher-Wood stick the dynamic d-man wielded in the mid-1990s when he was patrolling the blueline for the Boston Bruins. Ray's original blade tape has been removed (small remnants remain), but the knob tape remains on the customized end and has a handwritten "M" placed on it. On the upper shaft is "Bourque 77" lettering, and the "PMP" accent stripe is intact but has a slight cut in it. Game marks run from the blade to knob, the stick is crack-free, and all in all, this is a beauty of a twig from one of the greatest blueliners of all time, and who was inducted into the Hall in 2004.
