Beautiful "Top Prospects" jersey was worn by Yann Sauve of the St. John Sea Dogs for either the 1st or 2nd period of the Top Prospects game held on January 23, 2008 at Rexall Place in Edmonton, Alberta. Tagged in the collar as a size "56", this tie-neck gamer with the alternate captain's "A" sewn on the left breast and the "Home Hardware Top Prospects" patch on the right breast shows only a small amount of marks on it, while on the inside hem is a MeiGray registration patch with numbers matching the accompanying letter of authenticity signed by representatives of the CHL and MeiGray. The Home Hardware Top Prospects Game is an event where 40 of the top players are selected from all CHL teams across Canada, with the criteria for players eligible to play in the game being they must be eligible for the NHL Entry Draft and highly ranked in the NHL Central Scouting Rankings. Yann Sauve was selected by the Vancouver Canucks in round 2 of the 2008 Draft and thus far has suited up for a small amount of games with the big league club.
