Historical Hockey Memorabilia Auction Fall 2014

Defenceman Aaron Rome would graduate to the AHL after his WHL days had come to an end, and which included two years with the AHL Portland Pirates, the farm team of the Anaheim Ducks from 2005-2008. (It’s now a Phoenix Coyotes affiliate). We’ve got Rome’s game-worn Pirates jersey from the 2007-08 campaign where he played 14 games before eventually joining the Columbus Blue Jackets, the NHL team he was dealt to. Tagged in the collar as an “AHL, CCM/RBK” with a size “58” flap below, this gamer has marks on the front, back, and on both sleeves, and has a handful of team-repairs on the sleeves as well. On the breast we see evidence of a patch removed, as well as the McDonald’s patch being shifted over slightly, while on the back hem is evidence of another patch having been removed, along with having a remaining “2007 Anaheim Ducks Stanley Cup Champions” patch, plus “AHL” and a Reebok logo. On the inside hem is a “MeiGray” Patch. A great game-used AHL jersey, and comes with an LOA signed by representatives of the AHL and MeiGray.
