Obtained directly from the rough and tough Andre Roy is this cool collection of 11 game-worn pieces of equipment from his time with the Tampa Bay Lightning (2001-02 to 2003-04, and then 2006-07 and 2007-08). As per Mr. Roy, many of these items are from circa 2003-04, the year he and his Lightning squad hoisted the Stanley Cup. Included is his Lightning team duffel bag with the 2 Lightning logos on the sides (which show flaking), and the number “36” laminated card is inserted in the clear pocket; 2 right handed gloves, 1 a Koho and the other CCM, both signed and numbered in clear blue marker, with another “36” added to the Koho example; Roy’s CCM Vector skates, signed in clear blue marker on the blade holder of each, and with “Roy” labels on the bottom of each boot. These skates show nice wear but remain solid and ready to wear if so desired; Roy’s game-worn CCM pants, with the “Tampa Bay Lightning” patch sewn on the right leg, Roy has signed the outer waist in clear white marker, and the pants show obvious game-wear but remain in nice condition aside from the 5” tear (plus a hole) on the right leg; Roy’s black Lightning practice jersey, signed in clear blue marker on the sewn-on team crest, tagged in the collar as a size “58”, and includes the “NHL Center Ice” patch on the right breast and a “58” patch sewn on the outer hem. This Jofa gamer shows marks and a hole on the left breast, along with marks and what could be blood stains on the team crest; 2 pairs of Lightning socks, with one sock displaying 5 team repairs, and all showing various degrees of game wear; 1 pair of Jofa 16" shin pads, with the graphics mostly worn off and a couple of cracks are in the knees; and finally, a couple of Roy’s game-used CCM Vector sticks, with original red knob tape on both, while one has original black blade tape and the other white. Roy has signed in clear silver marker near the heel of each, and has signed again over the “A. Roy” graphics on one of the gamers. These 2 sticks show a scattering of marks lining them, and the tape at the bottom of each blade has worn off.
