Historical Hockey Memorabilia Auction Fall 2014

From HOFer Brett Hull (ind. 2009) is this high-quality St. Louis Blues practice jersey worn in the 1990s when the Golden Brett was bulging twines in almost supernatural fashion. Tagged in the collar as a CCM with a nearby size “56” flap, this gold-colored practice gamer features the black, sewn-on “Center Ice” logo displayed across the front, with the embroidered Blues team crest sitting front and center. On the hem are 2 CCM logos stitched on, along with a "56" patch, while on the back is Brett’s cloth and rubberized red, yellow, and blue number “16”. Condition-wise, the jersey remains in excellent shape with a scattering of marks on the front and sleeves, and on the inside, the fight strap has been cut. A cool practice jersey from one of the greatest scorers in the history of the game, who, regardless of his astonishing talents, still had to practice like mere mortals. According to our consignor this jersey was originally acquired directly from the Blues at one of their annual equipment sales.
