This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 11/4/2014
Worn by the likeable and gigantic Hal Gill during the Pens' Stanley Cup-winning season in 2008-09 is this fine, and very large, Pens jersey, tagged in the collar as a CCM (size) "58+". This Set 1 gamer has a lighter amount of marks scattered about, and on the upper right sleeve is a substantial team repair to note. On the fight strap is a signature from the Pens equipment manager Dana Heinze, and sewn on the inside hem is a "Cutting Edge Pittsburgh Penguins 2008-2009 Set #1 Game Jersey" patch. Nice gamer from a fellow who carved out a very fine career that began with the Boston Bruins in 1998 and which took him through Toronto, Pittsburgh, Montreal, Nashville, and last season in Philadelphia. Comes complete with an LOA from the Penguins signed by representatives of the team.
