Historical Hockey Memorabilia Auction Fall 2014
This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 11/4/2014
Cool tie-neck (minus the lace) Islanders gamer donned by Swedish-born forward Mattias Weinhandl during the 2003-04 campaign when he notched 20 points in 55 games playing mostly on a line with flashy Alexei Yashin. With an embroidered "Koho" logo on the outer back collar and tagged as a size "54" inside, this vivid orange garment shows marks on the team crest and nearby, along with more, plus board burns, on the sleeves. A team repair is found on the left sleeve as well. On the inside hem is a "Cutting Edge Sports, Set #2, 2003-04" patch, and also a "MeiGray" registration patch with numbers matching the accompanying LOA signed by representatives of MeiGray and the NHL.
