Drafted by the New York Rangers #240 in the 2002 NHL Entry Draft was Petr Prucha, who would suit up for the Blueshirts from 2005-06 until 2008-09 before moving on to the Phoenix Coyotes and then St. Petersburg of the KHL. From Prucha's rookie season in the NHL, 2005-06, is his game-used skates and stick, plus his Rangers practice jersey from that year. Prucha's stick a CCM Vector which retains his original tape on the blade and knob, has "P. Prucha" stamped on the upper shaft along with a handwritten "2", and serial numbers have been stamped onto the lower area of the blade. A decent scattering of game marks line the stick. The game-worn Bauer Vapor skates (size 11 US) with the Tuuk blade holders remain in nice, albeit scuffed condition, and the left skate has a handwritten "73" on the Tuuk holder. And lastly, Prucha's practice-worn red Liberty jersey is tagged in the collar as a size "56" with a handwritten "25" on the tag. The jersey, which shows a small amount of marks, is described in the accompanying LOA signed by representatives of MeiGray and the NHL, as "each practice jersey was marked by the team's equipment staff with the player's number immediately after its use. The jersey is part of the 2005-06 NHL MGG Practice Collection". Prucha's skates and stick come with LOAs from the New York Rangers, with both signed by a representative of the team and both including MeiGray registration holograms.
