Historical Hockey Memorabilia Auction Fall 2014

Beautiful L.A. Kings jersey was worn by winger Ted Donato when he suited up for 1 of just 2 games with the Kings in 2001-02 after coming over from the Islanders and before moving on to the St. Louis Blues. Donato would wear this jersey at Pittsburgh on Feb. 27, 2002, while his only other game with the Kings was at the Staples Center on March 3, 2002 when he and his squad wore their white uniforms. Tagged in the collar as a size “52”, this rare gamer has the “2002 NHL All-Star Game” patch sewn on the right breast and the “AM” patch on the left breast in honor of scouts Garnet “Ace” Bailey and Mark Bavis who were aboard United Airlines Flight 175 on 9/11. On the inside hem is a “Los Angeles Kings 2001-02 Set 2” patch with Kings equipment manager Peter Millar’s circled initials. A great double-patched Kings/Donato jersey that comes with a COA signed by representatives of the MeiGray Group.
