This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 11/4/2014
Uniqueness surrounds this white Florida Panthers jersey worn by forward Anthony Stewart when the Panthers and NY Rangers met on September 23, 2006 in San Juan, Puerto Rico for a pre-season game, and which was the first ever game played in Puerto Rico. The Panthers wore their only set of white pre-season jerseys for this game which saw the Rangers win 3-2, and for this game, they added the Puerto Rico flag patch sewn onto the right shoulder. This Stewart jersey, tagged in the collar as a size "56" (with a handwritten "57" on it - Stewart's number), shows an unrepaired hole and some blue paint transfer on the left sleeve, along with more paint transfer and a mark on the right sleeve. On the inside hem is a "Cutting Edge 2006-2007 Set #1" patch, along with a MeiGray registration patch with numbers matching the enclosed LOA signed by representatives of the Panthers and MeiGray.
