Historical Hockey Memorabilia Auction Fall 2014
This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 11/4/2014
Awesome pairing of Guy Lafleur goodies up for grabs beginning with Guy's game-used Chimo stick wielded during his final years in the NHL while with the Rangers or Nordiques in the late-1980s. The gamer, which has its original black tape on the blade and white on the knob, shows excellent game wear with marks and paint chipping, and has "G. Lafleur 10" stamped on the upper shaft, while closer to the blade are stamped numbers along with a difficult to read date under the fiberglass. Also offered is a large and original framed painting on canvas depicting Le Demon Blond sharply dressed wearing a Montreal Canadiens tie. The 23 1/2" x 35 1/2" painting with vivid colors is framed to overall dimensions of 26 3/4" x 38 3/4", is signed and dated in the lower corner by the artist Gary Corcoran, 1986, and remains in superb condition with the frame exhibiting small chips to the corners and a larger chip to the upper left corner area. Ready to hang and display in your Lafleur shrine, with a great, game-used Lafleur stick to accompany it!
