Historical Hockey Memorabilia Auction Fall 2014
This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 11/4/2014
Hall of Famer Darryl Sittler (ind. 1989) wielded this dandy CCM Custom Pro while with the Leafs in the the 1970s, the team he spent his first 12 seasons in the bigs with (1970 to 1982), before moving on to the Philadelphia Flyers and then one final season in Detroit. This classic wood CCM gamer features Sittler's original black tape on the blade and knob, with the knob tape partially covering the stamped-on "Sittler" at the top of the shaft, and on the blade the HOFer has signed his name in large and beautiful white marker that covers the full length of the blade tape. An amazingly nice example of a classic gamer that shows only a few game marks throughout, with the accent stripes fully intact, and which would look splendid on display. Simply a great gamer from a great player.
