Historical Hockey Memorabilia Auction Fall 2014
This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 11/4/2014
Sharp 3/4 length wool coat from the circa 1960s Providence Reds of the AHL, with the classic “Providence Reds” lettering sewn-on the left breast. Tagged in the collar with a “Woolrich Woolen Mills” patch and a size “38” flap just below, this heavier-style coat with lining is missing three buttons on the front and one on the right sleeve, and remains in overall nice condition with some fraying on the cuffs, some dirt on the red lining, and one of the pieces of material connecting the lining to the outer coat has torn. Some slight discoloring to the parts of the collar is to note as well. Just a touch of sprucing up and this coat is ready to wear, making you almost an honorary member of the legendary AHL squad!
