Historical Hockey Memorabilia Auction Fall 2014
This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 11/4/2014
Drafted by Quebec in 1979, Dale Hunter spent his first seven NHL seasons making a name for himself as one of hockey’s greatest agitators with the Nordiques. Great game wear is written all over Dale’s circa 1982-83 Nords game-worn white home jersey with black marks all over the front and both sleeves. Maska tagging and size 48 laundry instruction flag tag sit in the back of the neck of this classic with a double cloth fight strap and Maska logo embroidered on the rear hem. The sewn-on Nords crest is red, white and blue triple twill and the numbers on the sleeves and back and fleur-de-lys are heat screened vinyl, a bit of which has been lost in parts to cracking, flaking and peeling but which holds up pretty well overall. Hunter’s autograph on the right breast, which is noted on the LOA, was removed.
