Historical Hockey Memorabilia Auction Fall 2014
This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 11/4/2014
Awesome circa 1973-74 Atlanta Flames #11 game-worn jersey is attributed to veteran forward Leon Rochefort, who won the Stanley Cup with Montreal in 1966 and 1971. This beauty from the first few seasons of the Flames’ initial incarnation in Hotlanta has Rawlings size 46 tagging that remains in wonderful condition in the back of the neck. The garter-style fight strap is intact and nicely preserved with a few reddish-brown stains on the elasticized white fabric. Lighter game wear includes a team repair in the middle of the rear hem, a few board burns on the sleeves, including one on each with blue paint transfer, another sewing fix in the middle of the upper front, and a few stains on the bottom of the red, gold and white Flaming A triple-twill crest.
