Historical Hockey Memorabilia Auction Fall 2014
This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 11/4/2014
Quebec-born netminder Jonathan Bernier, at this writing a puckstopper with the Toronto Maple Leafs, saw action in parts of 5 seasons with the L.A. Kings before moving north, and it was his final season in Southern California, the 2012-13 campaign, when he wore this great glove and blocker with marks we’ve been able to photo-match! Tons of game marks line both of these fully-intact white CCM "EXtreme Flex Pro" gamers, with the photo-matched catching glove having “Bernier” stitched on the cuff along with a nearby “CCM Lefevre” patch. The blocker has “Bernier” stitched on the inside cuff, with three areas that are also photo-matched.
Bernier’s glove is photo-matched to March 5th and a June 6th playoff game with a big black mark across the “Extreme” graphics on the back pocket. The blocker is photo-matched from his March 16th and 19th appearances with 3 marks on various spots including a dark one on the side, a dark v-shaped mark on the middle, and another dark v-shaped near the bottom.
