Kari Lehtonen’s 2003-04 Thrashers game-worn rookie jersey is the one the Finnish goalie was wearing when he recorded his first NHL shutout! Lehtonen, who was drafted second overall by the Thrashers in 2002, made 30 saves in a 3-0 win at Florida on March 27, 2004 to record the shutout in his third NHL start. Lehtonen went 4-0 in his four starts late in the season, all road games. The “37” Dan Snyder patch is sewn on the left breast and the Thrashers Fifth Season patch is sewn on the right. Goalie style and size 58 flag tags sit in the back of the collar and the MeiGray NHL Game-Worn Jersey 2003-2004 registry patch is sewn inside the rear tail. Solid game wear shows in puck marks on the front with faint red goalpost paint transfer on the back of the elbows which have other marks. Comes with an NHL/MeiGray LOA.
