Historical Hockey Memorabilia Auction Fall 2014

Future Hall of Famer Martin Brodeur’s career is nicely covered from 1990 to 2009 with this album jam-packed with Brodeur trading cards, gathered by his dad Denis Brodeur, and which begins with his 1990-91 Score rookie card, of which there are 5, (including 1 signed) through various card companies including Upper Deck, O-Pee-Chee, Topps, Pacific, Fleer, In The Game, Supreme etc, with the majority being different Upper Deck cards. And besides the signed rookie card, we see signed cards that include a 1992-93 Donruss, ’93-94 Leaf, 2 – 1996-97 Upper Deck, a 1999-00 UD MVP Stanley Cup Edition, and a 2002 Signature Series card. Comes with LOA from the Brodeur family.
We know this isn’t the entire Brodeur card portfolio, there are several thousand out there, but this makes a serious dent to be sure. Best of all, this collection belonged to his dad Denis, himself a great goalie who won an Olympic bronze medal at the 1956 Cortina games, and who was a Montreal Canadiens photographer for decades. The cards appear to be in mint-like condition except for one, a 1992 Score Top Prospect which has a stain on the back. Otherwise, all seem awesome.
