Historical Hockey Memorabilia Auction Fall 2014
This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 11/4/2014
A couple of cool USA jerseys used in the making of the Disney production "Miracle" starring Kurt Russell that documented the amazing story of the 1980 US Olympic Hockey Team. The pre-tournament style jerseys, with Morrow (Ken) and Craig (Jim) nameplates, were worn in filming and then returned to the costume company who later sold them. These jerseys have complete sewn-on lettering and numbers, with Morrow's tagged in the collar as a size "XL" and Craig's as "56". Both mesh beauties were made by "AIS", and both are basically mark-free (1 small mark on the front of Craig's). They're the next best thing to having an actual 1980 USA Olympic team game-worn jersey from the historic event when the underdog Americans toppled the mighty Soviets on their way to a more-than-surprising gold medal at Lake Placid. With LOA's from Sports Studio.
