Historical Hockey Memorabilia Auction Fall 2014

This complete three-volume set of "The Trail of the Stanley Cup" is an eclectic mix that features two leather-bound volumes. The entire history of the Stanley Cup through 1967 is detailed in the three books that comprise this incredible undertaking published by the NHL. Researched and written by hockey historian Charles L. Coleman, the set is divided into three distinct volumes. Vol. 1 offered here, from the Cup's inception in 1893 to 1926, is leather-bound with a slipcase but it is not numbered. Vol. 2 covers the boom and bust years on through World War II from 1927 to 1946. Vol. 3 is also leather-bound and this one is numbered 1259 of 1500, covering from 1947 to 1967, the golden age of the Original Six. An excellent set for research purposes.
