Historical Hockey Memorabilia Auction Fall 2014
This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 11/4/2014
Dandy stories to accompany this good-looking second-only-to-one-at-PSA card of Carl Voss, who finally got to appear on hockey cards some ten years after debuting in the NHL. Voss, get this, played for eight different teams in eight years and was picked up by Chicago after starting the 1937-38 season with the Montreal Maroons. Voss scored the Stanley Cup-winning goal for the Black Hawks, only to see his career ended by a knee injury in training camp the following September! Slabbed EX-MT 6 by PSA, this Pop-2 is bettered only by a NM-MT 8, with 16 total submissions of the Voss card in PSA history.
