Historical Hockey Memorabilia Auction Fall 2014
This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 11/4/2014
The stars of the Original Six era sure look good in these colorful pictures on paper stock offered in early 1964 by the Toronto Star, with the vivd colors made possible by the genius of Harold Barkley, the first photographer to install bright lamps in arenas. The photos measure 4-3/4" by 6-3/4" and include swell write-ups on the backs. In dandy collectible condition with just lightly worn/rounded corners, the images are accompanied by a 24-page hockey tips booklet of the same size in excellent shape. Howe, Beliveau, Hull, Sawchuk, Mahovlich, Richard and more. Beautiful set, and comes with the original mailing envelope.
