Historical Hockey Memorabilia Auction Fall 2014
This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 11/4/2014
Rough, tough and popular in Toronto was Reginald “Red” Horner, one of hockey's first enforcers who played his entire NHL career with the Maple Leafs, serving as team captain his last two years. Red was already in his sixth NHL season when his O-Pee-Chee rookie card was issued, noting “Has developed into one of the hardest hitting Defense men in the National League.” Horner led the league in penalty minutes eight consecutive seasons! This example of card #10 has been slabbed Good 2 and awaits a Series A/Leafs/RC collection.
