This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 11/4/2014
A couple of team-signed sticks up for grabs here including a Gary Doak game-issued Sher-Wood stick (unused and untaped), with "Doak" stamped on the upper shaft and with approximately 18 Boston Bruins signatures from the late-1960s squad. Signing in black marker which have paled somewhat but in most cases remain legible are Bobby Orr, John Bucyk, Phil Esposito, Gerry Cheevers, Ed Johnston, Don Awrey, Fred Stanfield, trainer Frosty Forristall, John McKenzie, Garnet "Ace" Bailey, Gary Doak (in dark marker) and many others. A fine team-signed stick from the Big Bad Bruins. Also in the lot is a "Woody Dumart Peewee" stick measuring 43" in length, handwritten on the blade in large dark marker as "Long Island Ducks E.H.L. Champs - 64-65", with signatures in both black marker and blue ballpoint pen and include coach John Muckler, Jim Armstrong, Gord Stratton, Russ McClenaghan, Andre Dubuc, Gerry Rafter, John Brophy, Ron Hergott, Rocky Kitchen, Don Nolin, and a few other faded examples. The Long Island Ducks of the Eastern Hockey League were in existence from 1959 to 1973 and the team represented here on this stick won the Eastern Hockey League North Division and captured the Walker Cup in the spring of '65.
