Historical Hockey Memorabilia Auction Fall 2014
This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 11/4/2014
There’s a couple of middle pages loose on this 84-page program from the 35th NHL All-Star Game held on February 8, 1983 at Nassau Coliseum in Uniondale, New York but we don’t think you’ll mind, because one of the loose four-sided pages that features photos of every player playing in this game has been autographed by every player except one! Featuring 20 players each from the Clarence Campbell and Prince of Wales teams, the list of signatures is mind-boggling. From Gretzky, Coffey, Kurri, Ciccarelli, Messier, Dionne and others from the Campbell, to Bossy, Bourque, Sittler, Trottier, Lindbergh etc. from the Prince of Wales. The signatures, signed in various blues and red, are all clear and wonderful, including a terrific Gretzky sig.
Others from the Campbell Conference signing their page include Babych, Bannerman, Broten, Hartsburg, Huber, McCarthy, McDonald, Murray, Savard, Secord, Sutter, Vaive, Wilson, and deceased HOF coach Roger Neilson (ind. 2002, dec. 2003). Only Richard Brodeur’s signature is absent from the team. Others signing from the Prince of Wales include Francis, Goulet, Mark Howe, Kehoe, Langevin, Langway, Maloney, Marini, Pederson, Peeters, Potvin, Ramsay, Walter, and Marion and Peter Stastny. Jean Beliveau has also added his signature at the top of the Prince of Wales page. The program, aside from the loose pages, remains in excellent condition.
