Historical Hockey Memorabilia Auction Fall 2014
This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 11/4/2014
Beautiful threesome of vintage hockey metals offered here, including a cool 1 ½” x 2” medal showing a hockey player set into an ornate surrounding, with the reverse engraved as “W. Jamieson Manager Chapleau Intermediate N.O.H.A. 1921-2 (with “Sterling” and metal markings at the bottom), preserved in good condition with some tarnishing and some wear on the “Sterling” lettering. We also have a 1" in diameter piece showing the image of an early player on one side with the reverse engraved as C.S.A. Toronto East Junior Championship 1922-23, in excellent condition. Lastly is a 1” x 1 ½” medal showing a player’s image and reading as “Toronto Amateur Hockey Assn. 1932” with a blank reverse aside from metal markings, and with condition showing some age darkening and some wear on the blank reverse side. All in all, three mighty fine pieces.
