Historical Hockey Memorabilia Auction Fall 2014
This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 11/4/2014
The Chicoutimi Sagueneens would be kings of the QSHL in 1952-53, beating Jean Beliveau and the Quebec Aces in the process, and from that huge moment in the Sagueneens’ history comes three cool items that includes a 10K gold size 9 championship ring with the team logo on the face, a faint indication it was resized, probably back in the day, and in excellent condition with some slight darkening on the inside face and faint surface scratching. There’s also a 12” x 14” studio-mounted team photo taken after the squad won the title and dressed in team blazers, and a Sherbrooke stick that’s been cut off to 24 ½”, with the blade signed in black ink by 20 members of the ’53 Sagueneens, all clear and legible except for two. The studio photo remains in excellent condition with the surrounding borders showing marks and slight damage.
