Handsome gold ring was presented to forward Bill McCreary for his efforts in helping the St. Louis Blues to the NHL's Western Division championship in 1968-69. The Blues, stacked with veterans, racked up 37 regular season wins and 88 points to outdistance Oakland by 19 points. St. Louis then swept both Philadelphia and Los Angeles in the playoffs before in turn being swept by Montreal in the Stanley Cup finals. The face of this championship ring features a golden Blues logo against a blue enamel background surrounded by "West Division Champions". One shank has a raised NHL logo while the other includes crossed hockey sticks and "1969". The interior band is stamped "18K" while a scripted "Bill McCreary" is engraved. The ring is a size 8 1/2, has an approximate weight of 34 grams, and shows moderate wear. Comes with an LOA. From an exciting and proud time in St. Louis Blues franchise history.
