The signatures of deceased HOFers Tim Horton, Punch Imlach and Allan Stanley are among those on the two 1960s Maple Leafs team-signed sticks offered here. Horton’s is among 11 autographs on a stick signed by 11 members of the 1969-70 Leafs, including fellow HOFers Bower and Keon, and 1972 Summit Series hero Paul Henderson. Horton has also autographed a nice CCM Professional goalie stick signed in a variety of inks by 14 members of either the 1962-63 or 1963-64 Leafs, including coach Imlach and fellow HOFers Pulford, Duff, Kelly and Stanley.
“Toronto Maple Leafs 1969-70” is handwritten in blue ballpoint on the blade of the team-signed stick that is also autographed by the likes of coach John McLellan, Murray Oliver, Terry Clancy, Ron Ellis, Brit Selby and Pat Quinn. Horton’s and Kelly’s autographs stand out as the boldest.
Horton has signed on the paddle of the CCM goalie stick along with Kelly, Harris and Stanley. Moving up the shaft are autographs from the likes of Simmons, Douglas, Pulford, Brewer, Shack and Duff. Goalie stick has Love & Bennett Ltd. stamp at the bottom of the shaft.
