Considered the greatest goalie in NHL history by many, Patrick Roy enjoyed one of his most memorable seasons with the Montreal Canadiens in 1992-93. This Habs game-worn road jersey is one of the nicest Roy gamers we have had at auction. Worn by St. Patrick during the Canadiens’ last Stanley Cup season it sports the Cup centennial patch sewn on the right breast. Roy won the second of his record three Conn Smythe Trophies that spring as he backstopped Montreal to an incredible 10 consecutive overtime wins on the way to the Canadiens’ 24th Stanley Cup title. Roy’s awesome 1992-93 Canadiens game-worn jersey has Maska Ultrafil and size 56 flag tags in the neck, an intact fight strap, and CCM and NHL shield logos embroidered on the right rear tail. It sports eight distinctive Habs team repairs with four on the left sleeve, three on the front and another on the right sleeve. More game wear shows in pilling inside the collar and black marks on the front. Please take note that this lot may be subject to a silent reserve. Comes with a Classic Auctions LOA.
