Historical Hockey Memorabilia Auction Fall 2014
This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 11/4/2014
Currently an assistant coach with the Montreal Canadiens, JJ Daigneault spent most of 5 seasons patrolling the blueline for the Habs in the early-1990s and from either the ’93-94 or ’94-95 campaign is this Daigneault game-worn Habs jersey that features, curiously enough, the captain’s “C” sewn on the left breast as he must have replaced an injured Guy Carbonneau or Kirk Muller in that role. Tagged in the collar as a “Maska Ultrafil” with a size “52” flap alongside, this red gamer shows a light scattering of marks on the sleeves along with the triple tackle twill team crest and double twill number “48” both having puckering. Comes with an LOA signed by the Canadiens Rejean Houle.
Daigneault suited up with 10 different clubs between 1984 and 2000 including Vancouver, Philadelphia, Montreal, St. Louis, Pittsburgh, Anaheim, the Islanders, Nashville, Phoenix, and Minnesota.
