Historical Hockey Memorabilia Auction Fall 2014
This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 11/4/2014
Awesome 1975-76 Montreal Canadiens jersey worn by Murray Wilson conjures up memories of the launch of the Habs’ dynasty of four straight Stanley Cup wins in the late-1970s. Wilson had 11 goals and 35 points in 59 games during the regular season as Montreal finished 58-11-11 for a league-leading 127 points. Wilson size 44 tagging sits in the back of the neck of this Habs gamer which shows the outline on the inside of the jersey where the 1976 Olympic patches were removed from the shoulders. The garter-type fight strap is intact and there is plenty of solid game wear to report, including various marks to the triple twill CH crest sewn on the front, black marks on the front tail and both sleeves, with board burns, red paint transfer on the back of the left sleeve and on the front hem.
