Historical Hockey Memorabilia Auction Fall 2014
This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 11/4/2014
Imagine, 11 Stanley Cups as a player. Now that’s a record that will likely never be approached again! Henri Richard’s late-1960s/early-1970s Montreal Canadiens Victoriaville Pro game-used stick dates from the bridging of the Habs’ Forgotten Dynasty to the team that was forming to dominate the NHL once again in the mid- to late-1970s. “16 H. Richard” is stamped on the shaft and the Pocket Rocket’s original tape jobs remain on the knob and blade. Henri scored Cup winners in 1966 and again in 1971, when he tallied the tying and winning goals in Game 7 in Chicago. Solid and crack-free beauty shows nice game wear from the greatest champion in NHL history.
