Historical Hockey Memorabilia Auction Fall 2014

A Maurice Richard Bee Hive premium ring is a prize among these forever-in-demand and oh-so-coveted signet-style rings. Bee Hive corn syrup introduced these premiums in 1949 which were available for a couple of years through a mail-in offer. Made to fit any finger, they pictured various NHL stars, including the Rocket himself, under a clear Lucite dome. This gilt-lacquered treasure includes a raised image of the Stanley Cup on one side with "NHL", crossed hockey sticks and a puck on the other. The Richard image with the less-often-seen half-body pose is in great shape, unobscured by a small scrape to the plastic above his head. A magnificent opportunity for serious Bee Hive collectors.
