Historical Hockey Memorabilia Auction Fall 2014
This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 11/4/2014
It seems fitting that Adam Oates’ 1992 NHL All-Star Game jersey would come from the collection of his old buddy and St. Louis Blues teammate Brett Hull. Hull and Oates found true chemistry, so much so that for the 2 ½ seasons they played together, Hull notched 212 goals and Oates collected 228 assists. (Oates also had 58 goals and Hull 113 assists along the way). This ’92 Campbell Conference Oates gamer is tagged in the collar as a Maska, with a size “50” flap nearby, and features the “75th” patch sewn on the right breast. Games marks are light (a few on the sleeves), and Oates has signed on the inside behind the big crest in clear and bold black marker. A great All-Star gamer from a fellow inducted into the HOF in 2012, joining his old buddy Hull (ind. 2009), who has signed the accompanying LOA.
