Historical Hockey Memorabilia Auction Fall 2014

There was no denying the Detroit Red Wings in 2001-02 as they finished their regular season with 116 points, best in the league, and for their efforts were awarded the important President’s Trophy and which assured them of home ice advantage throughout the playoffs. Finishing third in team points in that campaign was sniper Brett Hull, who collected 30 goals and 33 assists in the cause before he and his team journeyed on to capture the Stanley Cup in the postseason. We have Brett’s personal President’s Trophy from that great Motown season, with the silver-plated beauty measuring 16” with removable top and featuring three crossed sticks, the NHL logo, and a plaque near the base reading as “National Hockey League President’s Trophy, Brett Hull, Detroit Red Wings 2001-2002”. Preserved in excellent condition with only small specks of tarnishing in places and light silver paint damage where the three sticks cross, this important memento from Brett’s collection comes with an LOA signed by the man himself.
