Historical Hockey Memorabilia Auction Fall 2014

It was a controversial goal talked about to this day, a Brett Hull tally in triple overtime of game 6 against the Buffalo Sabres in the spring of ’99 to give the Stars the Stanley Cup, and a goal questioned throughout the hockey world because of the “foot in the crease” argument. Offered is Brett’s game-worn jersey from that ’99 Cup Finals, tagged in the collar as a CCM (size) “54”, featuring the “1999 Stanley Cup” patch sewn on the right breast and showing a nice scattering of marks on the front and on both sleeves, including some green markings on and near the “Cup” patch. This historic gamer has been hemmed-up at the waist and the sleeves have been customized with added length, while on the inside, a Velcro patch has been added to the hem and the fight strap has 3 black dots handwritten on. Definitely an important jersey from the Stars’ lone Cup win, and Brett’s 1st of 2 occasions to hoist the hardware (the 2nd being 2002 with Detroit). As cool as can be, and comes with an LOA from Mr. Hull.
