Historical Hockey Memorabilia Auction Fall 2014
This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 11/4/2014
Such a dynamic duo was the Brett Hull and Wayne Gretzky combination in St. Louis, and when Brett scored his 36th goal of the season (452nd regular season career goal) in the 65th game that year, it was Gretzky who assisted, which was Wayne’s first assist as a Blues on a Brett Hull goal after being traded to St. Louis from L.A. on February 27, 1996. The Hull from Gretzky milestone puck, from the night of March 7, 1996 vs. Calgary (won by the Flames 4-2) is offered here, with just touches of scuffing on both the “NHL” and reverse “Gary Bettman” logos and on the edges, and with white trainer’s tape handwritten on as “1st Asst. from #99 3/7/96”. This milestone puck comes with an LOA signed by Brett Hull.
