Weighing approximately 13 pounds (or nearly 6 kilograms) is this full-length, 66” silver stick presented to Brett Hull for his feat in achieving 500 goals, and which is engraved on the blade as “Brett Hull, In recognition of 500 goals in the National Hockey League, Sunday December 22, 1996, St. Louis Blues vs. Los Angeles Kings, Kiel Center, St. Louis, Missouri, 10:25 third period”. Brett would score 3 goals in the Blues 7-4 win over the Kings, with his 3rd goal beating goaltender Stephane Fiset to reach the 500 plateau. His hat trick was also his 26th of his career. It was originally thought that Brett had scored his 500th just 20 seconds into the 3rd period but 5 minutes later the goal was taken away from him when video replay showed it had banked in off Stephane Matteau’s leg. But at the 10:25 mark, he got it done in clear fashion. Preserved in beautiful condition with just a few light scratches on the blade, this is definitely as cool a showpiece as can be. Comes with an LOA from Brett Hull.
