Historical Hockey Memorabilia Auction Spring 2014
This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 6/17/2014
You won’t want to let this lot become the one that got away! “Maurice Richard” is handwritten in lightly faded black marker on the Rocket’s well-worn yellow heavy vinyl fishing clothing bag. Maurice’s name is handwritten along with his Montreal address and phone number on a Canadian Airlines ID tag attached to the zipper. A famous outdoorsman in addition to his legendary hockey career, Maurice’s bag contains his yellow vinyl rain pants and jacket with detachable hood. The Rocket’s one-piece lined heavy outdoorsman’s suit has Sportsman’s Apparel by Browning tagging in the neck along with a size XL flag tag. Olive pants in heavy canvas with winter lining are size 40 with Holden’s, Hull, Quebec tagging inside the waist. Green fishing vest has Gerome tagging and size XL flag tag. The Rocket and fellow Habs icon Jean Beliveau are pictured with the proof to back up their big fish story in a laminated 8x10 photo. Maurice’s black rubber boots are size 11. Maurice’s Canadair ballcap rounds out the lot. Comes with an LOA from the Richard family.
