Nice collection of commemorative programs and paraphernalia from the opening and closing of doors in the world of sports and includes the first issue from the NBA Toronto Raptors in 1995 and the final NHL program from the Boston Garden in 1995 (which includes the May 1, 1995 Bruins-Sens lineup, which was played two weeks prior to the official closing. There’s an unopened “The Final Game” program from Feb. 13, 1999 at Maple Leafs Gardens, the March 11, 1996 final game at the Montreal Forum (limited-edition 471/27,000), a Jan. 1996 “Grand Opening” program at Ottawa’s Palladium, a 1989 “Opening Celebration” magazine for Toronto’s Skydome, a June 5, 1989 collector’s edition of the Brewer’s vs. Jays opening day at the Skydome, an AHL opening night program at the Ricoh Coliseum in Toronto between the Toronto Roadrunners and Rochester Americans (plus personal snapshots from the night (plus a mint “Inaugural Game” banner), a reproduced program from the 1931 opening night game between the Leafs and Hawks at MLG, a 1995 Les Canadiens/Forum souvenir magazine from the end of an era, a 2000 Maple Leaf Gardens album and auction catalogue, a 1996 New York Islanders/Clark Gillies Retirement Night magazine, a final season 1994 playoff program from Chicago Stadium, an “Ovation Resto Bar”, Bell Centre opening night menu, a variety of pictures, magazines, hat, frisbee etc. from the Mississauga IceDogs opening night at the Hershey Centre (with several autographs scattered about), an opening night Toronto Raptors Nov. 3, 1995 30-inch pennant, and 4 Raptors’ newspaper features.
