Historical Hockey Memorabilia Auction Spring 2014
This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 6/17/2014
The sights and sounds of Maple Leaf Gardens. Fans milling about or seated in their narrow seats as legendary household names darted around the ice below. Employees in blue and white uniforms scattered throughout, helping the throngs find their seats, answer questions, and add to the charm of the old building. From the family of a man who was an usher at the Gardens from the 1950s to the late '70s comes this wonderful blue and white Leafs usher's sweater, with the chenille Leafs crest sewn on the left breast and with all buttons intact. Tagged in the collar with "Active Knit" with an adjoining washing instructions flap that includes "Men's L", this sweater only has some pilling to note and otherwise remains in excellent condition.
