Historical Hockey Memorabilia Auction Spring 2014

The Montreal Expos had the best record in Major League Baseball in 1994 when a players' strike ended the season in August. Larry Walker's team-signed Rawlings Adirondack Big Stick game-used bat bears the autographs of Walk and teammates Pedro Martinez, Ken Hill, Jeff Fassero, John Wetteland, Marquis Grissom, Moises Alou, Wilfredo Cordero and Darrin Fletcher, with the Milligan autograph dating it to 1994 when the Expos went 74-40 to lead the NL East by 6 1/2 games when the season came to a screeching halt. Walker's "33" is written in black marker on the top of the barrel, and the knob is stamped "431B 116 92" with the last two digits for the 1992 production year. “32 Walker” is handwritten on the knob. The “B” in the stamp on the knob is for 34” length, the “116” is for the batch code.
Among the others who have signed in bold marker are Rueter, Spehr and Boucher, while bullpen coach Pierre Arsenault has signed in ballpoint.
