Historical Hockey Memorabilia Auction Spring 2014

Sensational is this original artwork used for the cover of Philadelphia Firebirds programs in 1975-76 and the Syracuse Firebirds in 1979-80, showing a player firing a puck in rapid motion using multiple images to simulate animation technique. Featuring the red and yellow Firebirds logo in the background and the Firebirds shooter in the forefront, this cool original, signed by artist "Daily", measures 22" x 26" on its own and 22 1/2" x 28" in its cardboard matte. Preserved perfectly with only the matte showing a couple of edge nicks, there's no doubt this would look stunning when framed. The Philadelphia Firebirds were an NAHL member in 1975-76, and in the '79-80 season became the Syracuse Firebirds of the AHL.
