Historical Hockey Memorabilia Auction Spring 2014
This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 6/17/2014
Hall of Famer Mike Gartner (inducted 2001) used this wood Titan stick in the mid to late-1980s with the Washington Capitals, the team he shone with for ten seasons and which was his first of five teams he would suit up for during his remarkable career. With original black tape on both the blade and knob, this gamer has “M. Gartner” stamped on the upper blade and shows nice game marks throughout, along with small areas of ripped blade tape. Also stamped on the lower part of the blade are the numbers 207804 and 4-236. Just a great old crack-free twig from a fellow who collected 708 goals and 627 assists in his 1432 regular season games.
